Had dinner at Thai Rythic the other night, as usual food was outstanding, in particular the Chicken and Cashew Nut Noodles.
Service is just plain slack though. Not that difficult to improve either, also it was a monday night, there was a very high ratio of staff to dinners and they still managed to hit new heights in slow service.
Pick up your service guys I have been here about 10 times now in the last year and the service is always the same. Slack.

Delicado has been a bit of a serviced office for me lately meeting with business contacts. Coffee is always pretty good, but had a quick lunch in there the other day.
Yumm, Garlicy chicken on a nice soft breadroll with some green stuff.
Apparently they have been granted a drink and dine liquor license so will be ramping up into a full restaurant and have use of the footpath for 30 approx , watch out everyone.

Forgot to put this down, I had a nice steak up at the Commodore a few weeks ago. $10 Rump with Mash and Salad and a few beers to wash it down. Pretty damn good value out on the terrace. Bec had some chicken thing that was pretty good too.
Springs in full swing, summer is almost here, I can see a few more Sunday afternoons on the terrace up there.

Close to the newest place on the strip, I first thought it was more like a cafe than a restaurant but I guess thats how it is in Mcmahons Point for most of the establishments, they need to be cafes in the day time and restaurants at night.
We went for dinner last night and the food was very good especially the Salad with seared Tuna, extremely tasty. My only problems, the portions could have been slightly bigger and the lights are way too bright. 8/10

I like the blue Ginger, the food is very good value, the kids like eating here especially at the tables on the footpath.
The food is quite authentic and there is lots of it, fresh naan-bread with butter chicken and fish curry are my favorites.
You can bring your own wine and I believe also your own beer. Probably one of the best value, Asian/Indian restaurants around the North Sydney area. 8/10

Thai Riffic is probably the best Thai restaurant in the McMahons Point area. The meals whilst a little expensive compared to your local average Thai, taste fantastic and are in my opinion, very authentic compared to eating food in Bangkok.
The presentation is excellent, although the service can be a little slow during peak times.
I particularly like the pad Thai, and you can bring your own wine and they serve local and Asian beer’s. 8.5/10

Quintesential view of Sydney Harbour. Better views than the best Sydney Hotels without the traffic and noise. Ferry and buses straight out front. Accommodation is often booked out in advance especially for the Christmas holidays and New Years where you cant find a better view of the fireworks.

Great for sunny afternoons during spring and summer on the massive terrace. Meals are very good quality, good helpings and very reasonably priced. Lots of different beers on tap. Parking downstairs.
The downside? Turns into a 18-20 yr old dorm party most Thursday, Friday and Sat nights and you really need to turn up with friends, there isnt really a local presence. 7.5/10

The boys from the Deli have been a big hit in the last year since they took over from the old owners.
You cant move for customers during lunch and on the weekends. Fantastic coffee and bacon and egg rolls on Sat morning.
Take home meals and custom made Sandwiches during the day. Great selection of cheeses and flowers as well as other standard deli items. 9/10

Great old time pub, home to the Blues Point Yacht Club. What local pubs used to be like, where labourers, solicitors, business owners all enjoy a beer together, lots of locals come here numerous times a week giving the pub a great community spirit. When a fire gutted the bars last year, one of the locals opened his house each night to the other locals so they could all still get together. Luckily enough when they renovated after the fire they didnt overdo it, its clean and pleasant without being too trendy. Bar food is average to poor, meals in the Restaurant however are fabulous but reasonably expensive. Stacks of beers on tap and decent wine list by the glass. 8.5/10
